Whilst out during a heavy downpour, I noticed 5 puppies (less than a fortnight old) having very recently being ditched on a dirty towel under the overhang of an empty house directly next to the busiest road on our island. I immediately put them into my gym bag, looked around for their mom but couldn’t find her. They must have ditched them without their mom (sadly, a very common practice here). So instead of going to the gym, I went home right away with five new puppies. I fed them a special puppy formula milk right away - they were so hungry. All five survived and became a loving and easy-going family who hang around all the time together planning mischievous things. I am so happy that I was in the right place at the right time that day.
