Boris (family member since 2017).

He was a stray dog living close to a friend’s villa, and they always fed him. But at a certain point they had decided to move back to Europe. Many unfriendly people lived in that area, hence why he stayed close to my friend’s property. His gentle nature and his pleading eyes made me soften instantly. I took Boris in; I haven’t regretted it once (actually, I have never regretted rescuing an animal; I wish I had more money and could save more). He’s so loving, friendly and his charming character wins everyone over immediately. He’s the digging expert here - he loves to dig holes, and I’m very happy to give him the opportunity. I hope there will be many years left with this wonderful older dog here at the sanctuary.
