They also have a very sad story: they were rescued at the last minute before being slaughtered by locals - the big pot of water was already boiling. Friends of mine from London, who were here for a vacation, brought me to the place. It was a horrible scene. The bastard didn’t want to give her away so they bought her in the end. And to our surprise, there was a very young puppy (not even a fortnight old) under some branches. I picked her up right away, and the old man just said to take her, which I did. Both are still here and are very loving, active and mischievous dogs. I am so glad we could rescue them.
